The koozie protects your stash from the light and temperature shifts, which is essential if you want to prevent the degradation of terpenes and terpenoids. Silicone is the best material for the job because it is made from plentiful and easily sourced elements and can withstand temperatures from below zero to above 400ºF, is non-toxic and contains no worrisome chemicals.
The flax-filled polypropylene used to make the lid is a true bio waste product that is FDA approved and helps to reduce the carbon footprint and give your stash jar that you know will re:sist hands that are too young.
